About Us

Rotary is an organisation of business and professional people who like to have fun, enjoy themselves, and at the same time serve the community.

In fact the Rotary motto is

"Service above Self" 

The Wednesbury Club was founded in 1929 and is a registered charity number 1077286.

Membership is by invitation, information about membership can be obtained from the Secretary or from the Web organiser.

The object of Rotary is :-

First. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service.

Second. High ethical standards in business and professional life.

Third. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal,

          professional and community life.

Fourth. The advancement of international understanding,

goodwill and peace.

The Club has a President, Secretary, Treasurer  and a chairperson for each of the areas of Club activity - Membership, Community, International and Youth Opportunities. All Club officers usually hold office for one year.
